Babel is in Babylon, but is not Babylon. Plus Babel almost qualifies as a place of it's own. Plus also, Gaga has referenced Jean Paul Satre in her work. I don't think she's stupid. She would not equate Babylon to Babel. Babel has become associated with Christian mythology more than Babylonian. Babylon is rich with it's own mythology unrelated to Christianity. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
