thierryrreiht 20,981
I think the only possible Babylon tease with have is from the interview about “Partying in BC”. Not British Colombia, but rather “Before Christ”, Babylon being a city from Around 1800 to 600 BC (today we would say Before Current Era, BCE, to remove the biblical aspect) It was also renowned with its Great Gardens, which is one of the 7 Wonders. so those animal sounds + partying in BC.. yeah it’s coming

The guy who teased SL in the first place teased about Babylon. Theres a Babylon Goddess named "Gaga" A user in here teased Babylon a few years ago without editing his post. The description of the magazine about the song. ITS COMING She is winning again…. somehow she always stays here. I can’t stand it.
ElektrikUniCorn 526
Yasss I thought of it too. I really hope the song is real. Plus, I love the fact that Gaga add a different language lyric in her songs so maybe we will hear a lot of a non-english lyrics in Babylon🥰 Or maybe the outro of Babylon would be made of different languages in the same pattern like the outro of Gypsy with the countries. This would be epic Come come, unwrapp me!

U need to check your source of what "iconic" is I think what @tomsches is referring to is how something only becomes 'iconic' after a period of time. To be 'iconic' is to represent something of a cultural moment. Since this shoot was released yesterday, it technically is not 'iconic' - it just a brilliant, incredible photo shoot. In time, though, it could become 'iconic' - just like many of Gaga's looks have become. It's really just a semantic argument... but thought I'd clarify, since some are misinterpreting Tom's comment as being 'against' the shoot, which it isn't. It's funny how we all use the word 'iconic', though. I think the most obvious, recent addition to Gaga's iconography is probably the Joanne hat. subtext / fantasy

Ok WOW! I noticed those boots and was wondering what they said, thinking the text itself was somehow significant. I can't believe this didn't crose my mind, especially since I'm acquainted with the legend of the Tower of Babel. I doubt they went in that deep with the smybolism, but it's still a nice observation! Kinda like how sis doesn’t actually mean you’re my sister using shook doesn’t actually mean I’m shaking etc. Lingo isn’t meant to be taken literally lol. Iconic in slang doesn’t mean it needs to actually have cultural value to it.
