Genuine Guy 09 13,941
and I - oop. this could go 1 of two ways: Gaga follows suite, realising now isn't the time to release an album Gaga sticks to release date, does less numbers, but takes advantage of 0 competition Stare at the Chartster in the mirror they talk to me too. #StreamFunTonight

OMonster 14,707
4 minutes ago, ChrisC said: Gaga do the same pls She's definitely not rescheduling. I thought she might've but she's spoken publicly about the album and the virus, and has not suggested it would be delayed. The Paper interview also re-confirmed the 10th April. Sam Smith's original release was in May, and so it is easier for their team to reschedule. Vinyl records and physical copies of Chromatica will have already been printed and it costs money to store those unnecessarily. Promo can also be re-arranged for Sam because the delay is more in advance. Gaga has other magazine covers coming out to coincide with the album, which cannot be delayed. subtext / fantasy
Genuine Guy 09 13,941
Just now, Ronlop said: Why would you want her to delay the album? theres many reasons sis. the two main ones: She cant promote for a start, music industry is dead like al ot other industries due to the outbreak. its like how Mariah carey released glitter on 9/11 and it flopped hard. LastNight 5,935
Bad move if this is Corona related. I can say that I'm only one day in to working from home and self-isolating, and I KNOW new music, TV, films etc. are the only thing that's going to get me through. Re-watching and re-listening to my favourite shows and albums is great, but I'm going to need new art to experience if I'm going to be stuck in the same space for weeks on end. I know the world is a scary place right now, and lots of people are suffering, but there are millions of us who are otherwise healthy and simply staying at home to help the situation; we are a captive audience ready for entertainment and escape. I have all the time in the world for new music right now, and so do so many other people.
