S0436 10,215 Posted March 16, 2020 Share Posted March 16, 2020 I think the virus will be in decline in late April in the US (if we follow the East Asian model) but they probably won’t want to risk it so the May gigs are unlikely. The summer gigs are still up in the air and if there was no hope they wouldn’t have announced the dates when France in particular was/is in the throws of the virus. I work at a restaurant and just got the call that we’re closing until the 27th at least and I have to file for unemployment. Things are getting so bad. I’m far more afraid of society shutting down and people’s reactions than I am of the virus. This will likely be so much more detrimental to society. Now that businesses are ordered to close, it’s going to be the people with non-essential jobs, AKA POOR PEOPLE who are going to suffer. This is insane. Tens of thousands at stadiums, and even if it's at the end trail of the virus, it is still a big amount of people in one place. Don't get me wrong, I have tickets, but I'm praying it's postponed. You definitely will get a refund if it canceled. I feel your pain. My salary was reduced by 35% the day after I bought tickets and I feel a little regret honestly, but it is what it is. You absolutely will get a refund...in fact, I believe it would be illegal if LiveNation doesn't offer a refund. The problem isn't the tickets...it's the hotels/flights for people who aren't from the area. At this point, everything is up in the air. From what I've read, it seems like this may be over in June...so I wouldn't be shocked if Chromatica doesn't get postponed but Enigma does.
