we been knew that the continuation was planned during ARTPOP but that doesn’t necessarily mean it was with HIM, could’ve been someone else

Well, yes, unless I'm mistaken the only time the worked together again afterTelephone is for John Wayne video, so I guess he's talking about that.

“We worked on something else” means JW MV is NOT the telephone sequel, but maybe it was meant to be at an earlier stage

I’ve always told myself she would surprise release the continuation with B on the 10th anniversary. Imagine the video set ten years after Telephone, but oh well

Don't care for the continued stuff, this is way more interesting:

The VMA performance with the blood was still a concept for Applause. Burqa was dropped as the lead single idea since July 2013 when the song was leaked by Gaga. Aura was 100% the continuation for Telephone and controversy wasn’t a problem for gaga in 2013. The label just wanted Applause as the lead single.

Wait wasn't it changed from Burqa to Aura in 2012?

And so the original VMA concept art we have was for Aura and not Applause? Also how does this link in with Telephone part 3?

I thought all we knew was that part 3 was going to be for one of the 6 or so songs she'd already performed but I didn't think she said which.

I actually thought it would be MANiCURE at the time because at that point there were no lyrics in the bridge so I thought it was Beyonce's part left out for the performance
