I agree but the beauty industry is over saturated at the moment and you basically have one shot to impress the beauty community, the influencers and then the general makeup users... and it seems like the launch was lacklustre for a lot of makeup lovers and influencers and that resulted in not a lot of hype. I think Haus Labs is doing everything they can to promote the brand, they pick influencers for campaigns, do Elle Magazine spreads but the general public isn’t very interested.

Imo they should focus on doing more avant garde makeup and find a very clear aesthetic because people were expecting crazy products from Haus Labs and got kinda disappointed when it turned out to be nude glosses and neutral lipsticks.

I really REALLY hope we get limited edition Chromatica x Haus Labs merchandise!!! I like makeup and wear it frequently, but I'm more motivated to buy more expensive celebrity makeup if it is collectible, with packaging that makes me want to display it :flutter: I'm super hoping that she will release the next Glam Room #2 CHROMATICA in metallic and matte tribe-inspired shades :excited2:

I love HL products. I'm so annoyed they didn't offer a publicly sold bundle of the lip crayons. I'm excited to try them! The Glam Attacks and gloss formulas are outstanding. My next purchase will probably be the Haus of Whiskey set, eyeliner, and a lip crayon.

Not the woman who said she hates to sell fragrances

We all know there's more context to this statement lol. The Fame vs. Eau De Gaga made that very clear.

Also she needs to do some "men" products for those of us who don't wear makeup :-)

But it's a MAKEUP brand..... :billie: Go to lush or something.

Yeah i remember one influencer saying why'd they wait just now to sell makeup when everyone else is doing it as well. They could've done it way back when the community wasn't as saturated as it is today.

i guess it's also a big risk that they weren't to take then.

Me too!! Packaging is super important in the beauty industry, and see obviously Haus Labs was ok in comparison to others, I think people were expecting something super crazy but it’s really hard to have crazy looking makeup packaging and components when you’re not being backed by a big makeup company.

I do agree that Haus Labs should have tried to take advantage of the momentum of the Fame perfume to expand into beauty and skincare, that would mean Haus Labs today would be as big as idk Anastasia Beverly Hills or something.

It can fade away now that music is coming tbh

All the world ever needed was Chromatica :neyde:

But if she released cool antiageing skincare products I'd be here for it :fan:

Madonna already has one and if she did that. Just imagine the stan war that will ensue :enigma:

Why not xoxo Craig :ohwell:

We have been down this road many a times :ohwell:   so I'll bulletpoint

- its a product targeted at like half her fanbase. Females, gays who wear make up, drag queens ect ect. Not really intended for everyone

-  its not something that can be consumed like music. I wouldn't mind Haus Labs if with every new drop she also dropped a new song. One of the main factors why I have an issue with it is because theres nothing I can consume.

-  its nothing new or innovative. This idea that Haus Labs can change people's lives is just corny in my opinion. Shane Dawson's "Conspiracy" palette looked more appealing and looked more interesting than Haus Labs... probably because he did soemthing to engage all his fans. But even some of the looks are better than Haus Labs

- its message is just cheap and cringey. She talked about how without make up, Lady Gaga wouldn't be Lady Gaga. To boil your whole career down to a few chemicals in a plastic pallet to me is just off putting. Lady Gaga wouldn't be here without the talent she has or the artistry she has.

-  Sarah Tanno is a hit or miss. This point isn't necessarily an issue but when Sarah is off... she is OFF and the makeup looks really bad. Other times it looks amazing, and there have been stunning looks... but to release this picture :awkney:

Some of the looks have been absolutely stunning, and amazing. The promotional videos has looked amazing. And thats all you can really say about it. If she release like two songs with each release of make up, I wouldn't have that much of an issue :vegas:
