heavymlover 340
Both of which sold out in like a day. Gaga can't even sell out an arena with the same amount of people roughly (combined) in two months. Talk about a loss of status. Oh well, that's her own fault The audience is not here for popstars anymore. Madonna can't sell albums, nobody knows about Taylor S. in Europe, Katy is not even near to Gaga's international touring power, Rihanna and Ke$ha are struggling with their album sales, Gaga is not as strong as she used to be. I'm not worried about Gaga, I'm more worried about pop culture :) Edited December 6, 2012 by heavymlover
Guest
It's December, very cold, a Thursday, and you're really complaining about 12,000 visitors? We've had way smaller shows, it's not all about attendence and gross, but also about the reputation she builds in a country. Also, weekdays limit the number of people that are able and willing to travel and can make it to the show in time.

The weather isn't going to make the difference between a half empty arena and a sold-out show.
jhonyguy04 3
Ppl make too much excuses. The weather, the economy, the location. I think Gaga needs to step up next era or else....
Guest
The entire BTW era tanked in Norway. The weather isn't going to make the difference between a half empty arena and a sold-out show. It's not the main reason, but a small part in it. I still think 12,000 is pretty okay, seeing as, yes I'm doing it, Madonna sold like 18k tickets with her reputation and lots of Norwegian Monsters went to shows in other countries because she announced this one very late. Ppl make too much excuses. The weather, the economy, the location. I think Gaga needs to step up next era or else.... Gaga needs to step up next era or what? Gaga doesn't need to do jack, except make the music she wants. That's what every artist has to do really and if we or the general public aren't here for it, too bad. Born This Way was a huge hit, the album sold about the same number of copies as her two previous albums, so I don't see the problem. If she starts making generic music that she doesn't like herself is when we really have a problem, because that is gonna show and that's when her fans will leave Edited December 6, 2012 by BadMonster

Americano 31,061
We'll see in an hour then. Norway always inspires her, she says. So maybe they will inspire her this time to put out ARTPOP's single sooner. Edited December 6, 2012 by Bryan

Rollercoaster 2
And East Europe and almost the entire SA tour... Was bloody successful too. The venues were too big but saying 20k or 50k anywhere is flopping is a lie.

Who gives a **** about one ****ing arena concert. It's one show. Let me add fuel to the fire by revealing that Bieber is doing three back-to-back shows in this arena next year  (tickets are like $30 or something though). I Actually think he'll be joining the big league with his Believe tour,as he's doing stadium shows and arena shows, pretty cool for him! Anyway, I don't care either, she's doing fine, this is a more recent pic and it's filling up http://twitpic.com/bjmngj Gaga's tickets are really expensive in Norway. Cheapest tickets about $100 and most expensive one about $150, so the gross will be fine Edited December 6, 2012 by BadMonster
