Isn’t letting children stay at home even more dangerous? If they go out and they spread/ catch the disease to/from family and friends/babysitters because their parents have to work and they spread it further. Maybe it’s better to contain it within school classes? I don’t know. Maybe not. Haha. Maybe nothing will help and we just need to let it pass.

Children won’t die from it. But maybe their grandparents (who need to watch them) will.

Schools are breeding grounds for things like this. If one person carries it it can so easily spread to the rest of the class because they're spending hours in rooms with each other and touching the same things like door handles, Tables and Desks.

It just takes one person for it to the teachers and other students and then onto each of those students families or anyone they come in contact with.

My uni (here in Germany) just announced yesterday everyone should work from home as much as they can and only the core functionalities will stay as they are. They also stated that the start of lectures on April 6 is most probably not possible. Still, our government doesn't do anything like that besides canceling huge events with more than 1000 people  .

Y you have a point. Maybe it's a good thing to do a lockdown everywhere before it really gets out of hand.

Same here! No events above 1000 people. 

I work in a funeral home and I'm kinda scared for the next few weeks. People want to comfort eachother by kissing and hugging. I do 3 services a week for more than 120 people in one room. And the meal afterwards for +100 people will be a breeding ground. What if my staff gets sick? What if I get sick? Maybe it's rude, but I'm not going to shake peoples hands or stand close to people. For my own health, my staff, for all the relatives. We only get mild guidelines from the government. But they aren't enough. People won't listen when they're grieving. The next two weeks, my bosses are in Gambia, so I need to take the lead. I'm actually scared.

Ha, most schools don't even have soap or hot water. And can you guarantee that kids can't die from it?  I wouldn't want to take that chance.

It just took a couple thousand people dying outside of China for this to finally become a pandemic.
