It prepares expectation for ARTPOP artistic direction so people aren't too surprised at first (unlike BTW) and it slowly hype her next album without making it seems like a time bomb when everything is kept secret to the maximum (like BTW). What I do think it is is a preview of what some of the Zedd/Gaga collaborations will be like, and if that truly is the case, then I think we should be celebrating. I know how it feels when you write new music and want to share it with the world. Im not famous (not yet :D) but Im sure she just wants to see our reaction to ARTPOP as soon as possiblr and leak older songs that didnt make the cut to the album. And since her mainproducer for ARTPOP has his own stuff out, it's perfect to promote both. Btw, Tara also said something with "appetit"... I think Gaga and her team know how the hype they're creating (again -.-) is killing us. I mean this was catchy and im chill about it because its not supposed to be serious. But if theres songs on ARTPOP that are about d--gs I hope she executes it less blatantly because if the lyrics have such literal phrases it will most likely just seem try-hard as opposed to fun. I don't want another Hair/Bad Kids/Born This Way lyrical fiasco lolol If there's someone that can make smoking weed artistic is Gaga, I mean look what she did with masturbation on SHICD.
