This is why I think The Chromatica Ball won’t get cancelled

So, I’ve seen a lot of people saying “wHy aRE You eVeN buYinG tIckeTs, iT wilL geT canCellED anYwayS” because of the Corona Virus. (Some of them are for sure just people who are mad they can’t attend and secretly hope it’s gonna get cancelled, some of them have real concerns wich is understandable)

Here is why I think it will not get cancelled but probably just rescheduled because of Corona:

1. Gaga and her team plan a full on Stadium Show. Wich also means a stage for Stadiums, etc. So a lot of money would be wasted!

2. They are gonna rehearse, new choreo, interludes and all of that stuff. They wouldn’t do it if there isn’t the possibility to push the date.

3. Most of the concerts atm are NOT cancelled, they are rescheduled! Why would only Gaga cancel?

4. It is a 6 date tour = VERY easy to find new dates later this year. I even could see it that it is reported to an unknown date and will give it out when the corona situation calmed down. A lot of artist have rescheduled but not released the date yet!

5. It’s in July/August, so months away. We have no clue how it will be then. Also since the virus is sensitive to heat, it might die off and the shows might happen in September/October

6. Why would Gaga, her team, Live Nation or Ticketmaster sell the tickets if they know it’s not happening. That just shows nothing speaks against the show for the moment.

Also to everyone acting like they know better and saying “why are you buying tickets?”. You have nothing to lose! Tickets will be refunded anyways in the worst case! Maybe just wait with travel and accommodation. Prices won’t rise due to Corona, so people can wait with that.  And if you already got flights and hotels, you still have a nice round trip to the city if you come from far away. So you have nothing to lose.

Edit: I know gatherings of over 1000 people are not allowed in those countries/cities BUT they are only for a time period, we still don’t know for summer + this is why it might get rescheduled. Doesn’t mean it isn’t allowed no that it won’t be in 4 months...

My philosophy is that it’s 5 months away and I feel like the virus will likely be under control by then. All of your other reasons are valid though.

Let's hope it doesn't get cancelled. Many people coming from outside will be devasted. By then let's hope Corona is gone

None of your reasons adress the most important thing which is the coronavirus.   My country banned public events with more than 1000 people because of it.

I live in France and for the moment every event with more than 1000 people are bloqued till April 15. 

But we are at the begining of the epidemic here so we will see

Exactly until April 15 = Not when Gaga is there. And if they make it until Gaga’s show. Then it will be rescheduled to September/October

This is false, Southeast Asia still infected and still increasing every day.

Nobody will know what will happen in the next few months, unless you're God or got six sense that can foreseen the future.

It could get better or it could be worse. But I don't think it will be resolved that soon, since it's spreading so fast and hard to contain.

Chicago already has it so I can only imagine it would get tenfold worse nationally (Because I hear it’s the one to go to for most) if it wasn’t under control by then. That said, doubt it’ll be cancelled without mandate.
