If he drops out, it’s for the best at this point. If the traction is no longer there, staying in would do more than good.

Was a good fight if he does drop out, and I guess congrats to Joe Biden on securing his nomination for the Democratic Party and let’s see what happens from now until November.

Sanders vs Biden debate in the last chance Bernie has.

I just wish it were over already. There is no path.

But I do hope he goes crazy on Biden at the debate.

Why?

If there’s no path forward, why would Bernie not conceded to helping Biden get Trump out of office?

The only reason I can think of is that he probably thinks Joe is just as bad as Donald... which is, yikes.

That or he's hoping for one of two results:

1. He somehow still wins? Idk how though but this is US politics. Nothing makes sense.

2. He's hoping to drive Biden farther left like Hillary did in the general when she adopted more Bernie-lite policies (which I loooved).

Either way, I don't think he'll hurt Biden's chances too terribly considering most Dems are very much on board with "vote blue no matter who".

Whimsical bitch

Because Joe is not perfect and many of us don't agree with his policy approach. I bet most of the people supporting him can't name one of his policies. Beating Trump isn't the only goal for some of us. If Bernie can tilt his policy approach, that would be great for some of us.

If Bernie has decided to stay in even if there is no real path forward there is nothing we can do about it.

But last I heard they wanted to make the "debate" more like a Q&A type of thing? Idk how true that is.

Oh my ****, he's doing it AGAIN. It's 2016 all over again. He's going to drag this **** on forever even though he can't win, he'll continue to divide the party, and next Tuesday he's going to get his ass handed to him just like he did in 2016. He didn't even speak to his supporters last night after getting clocked (again). He needs to GO.

Why are Biden supporters so pressed? Half of the US states haven't voted yet. This is just how the DNC set up the process :oops:If you don't like it, complain to them. We sure have been.

No. No no no. This is BS. We rely on decent and honest candidates to drop out when they no longer have a path to victory not only for the preservation and unity of the party but to stop wasting money/time/resources.

Also throw back to ONE week ago when Bernie supporters were DESPERATE for Warren to leave the race. Hypocrites.

Bernie is a dead man walking. The nails are in the coffin. Game over. #TimesUp.

He has no clear path to victory. Him dragging this out will only alienate the party further. Next week will be a blood bath for Bernie... Florida, Ohio, Arizona, and Illinois.

Where was this anger when Warren didn’t drop out despite having no path to victory. I’m loving the hypocrisy on this thread it’s really going to get Bernie supporters to vote Biden!

:fail: This entitlement is why progressives didn't vote for Hillary last time. Outcasting us during the primary yet begging for us to come back in November worked out great in 2016, didn't it?

Bernie has every right to have his platform heard. Especially since one of his main talking points (Medicare For All) is supported by 60% of voters, yet Biden says he'll veto it.

His platform is heard, loud and clear, arms waving in every direction like a mad man, so worked up he took a damn heart attack.

It's not a matter of entitlement or his right, it's a matter of decency and doing the right thing for the party to succeed.

Neither did Biden after he won, they all cancelled rallies for the coronavirus. Chill.

Not to undermine how Republicans can hammer at a nail, but his son is a lot different than the email scandal. They were able to call her judgment into question, but he can't tell his 35 y/o son what to do. It's not sustainable, and when they bring it up Biden can bring up impeachment

It's about influence

He was the vp during his son's tenure at Burisma, while the US was helping Ukrainian government.

It clearly looks suspicious to say the very least.

Let's not kid ourselves

Not to mention trump can nail him on other issues like nafta, iraq vote, arrested with Nelson Mandela?.

It'll be the pot calling kettle black. But they both will be black.
