I honestly don’t think anything will happen before June maybe not even July but who knows. I‘m over them keeping my money.
At least my airline cancelled the flight so I will get that money back but the tickets were the most expensive out of the whole trip.

I wouldn’t hold my breath for any events at all to happen this year. Live music will be one of the last things to go back to normal, especially big shows

reality’s tight if the music is right

EDC just got postponed until October. Gaga is also performing that same weekend. These shows are all going to be canceled and let’s face reality, The Chromatica Ball is also up for delay. :vegas:

My tickets cost about the same as my flight and given that it looks like I have no chance of getting my flight money back, I could really use the ticket money back.

I think it’s massively unrealistic of MGM to think they can be staging live shows as normal not much more than a month from now, especially when so many of us have travel restrictions into the US that may not even have been lifted by that point.

Like these times aren’t difficult and uncertain enough without watching huge piles of money that could be useful right now sitting in limbo :saladga:

I really think most companies aren’t liquid enough to refund all these shows bc no one expects everything to be cancelled but it sucks.

We are not the credit givers to these corporations.

I don’t expect Chromatica Ball to happen this year as well & Vegas shows are also unrealistic. Idk why they scheduled new shows for June

I'm being positive, that there will be shows this summer including Enigma and Chromatica. But I do think if you live outside the USA it will be a lot harder to get in the USA. Travel bans will last for a while.

MGM had an internal memo for employees  that all shows including Gaga and  Cirque will resume the week of  May 11th, so lets hope. I wouldn't mind it being postponed to June. I already have one show postponed even though there are no dates yet.

Lmao they are so delusional and irresponsible.

All May shows will be cancelled, accept it and start requesting for your money back.

I've fully accepted the May shows aren't happening, and I'm doubtful travel restrictions into the US will even be lifted by then. To be honest, even if they were I wouldn't be risking the trip that soon anyway. Cases here in the UK haven't even peaked yet, and the US seems to be in the same position.

It would be good if MGM could also start accepting it because until they actually cancel the shows there isn't any way we can request refunds.

Totally agree. Same issue with the airlines too, not offering refunds even though we are literally banned from flying into the US.

"Oh, but yours isn't a refundable fare." No, of course it isn't, because they charge about double for the refundable options, knowing damn well nobody will splash out for them. I booked my flight in October last year, way before there was a hint of Covid 19. Had there been, I wouldn't have even considered committing to a trip.

I think airlines will have to start making allowances with their policies about not issuing refunds and giving credit for future flights instead. Just give people their money back.

I hope so, but I'm not holding my breath...if they don't start offering refunds they at least need to extend the time limit on rescheduling/using credit.

Virgin Atlantic are giving April 2021 as the limit right now but through to summer 2021 or perhaps even the end of the year would mean people (I guess by 'people' I mean me, I can't speak for everyone) would have time to reconsider their options, financially and otherwise once the situation returns somewhat to normal.
