I’m not sure, I feel like albums need to be personal and deep to be acclaimed, I don’t think Chromatica is going for that (thank god).

excuse me I see no difference between this being shot on Iphone than not. Sorry, but quality is also great.

If she keeps it to 12-14 tracks with no filler then sure she can get a mid 70. Acclaimed? Probably not. Pop albums don't go that high unless you're Billie Eillish. Also critics have always been harder on Gaga.

Stupid Love got a surprisingly positive critical reception, which I think is indicative of a (fair or not, up to you) positive reception for the album.

OP is right, in that pop has been looked at in a much more positive light by critics in the last few years. Granted, it’s different per the artist.

It's a double edged sword. Joanne was personal but critics generally found it to be inauthentic and had mixed reviews.
