President Biden 5,898
Democrats and independents ready to end the era of Trump, we have more pressing issues than the Presidential contest and Biden v Sanders. Let me introduce, The Senate The Senate (as I hope you know) is the arguably more powerful chamber of the US Congress, which powers like Supreme Court confirmations. Right now the Senate is controlled by Mitch McConnell (the turtle man), a wicked Republican from Kentucky. Luckily, we can Ditch Mitch and countless Republicans in 2020 in the tens of competitive Senate elections. In 2008, it wasn’t just Obama who won big and enabled reform like the ACA. It was down ballot Democrats, in particularly upsets in the Senate. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_United_States_Senate_elections Countless life ling Democrats and even some newer Democrats are running for the Senate in numerous states. And some have gotten media attention and gained a lead (such as Mark Kelly in Arizona). But 1 or 2 media covered states isn’t enough. We need to win as many as possible. So, I urge you to research a less knownSenate candidate, donate to them, and get involved with phone banking or possible ground volunteerism!!!! Let’s talk about skme of these candidates. Tonight I’d like to highlight the winner of the Mississippi Senate primary, who almosr won in the red state back in 2018. Mike Espy!
