I'm reading comments from people online on Facebook and Twitter saying they support Medicare for All but voted Joe Biden. Like wtf that doesnt make sense.

Gurl the poor are the ones voting for Biden. You are also the one who said you'd be ok with Trump for another 4 years. Yet because of Trump we are unprepared for the Coronavirus that has actually killed people in the US with cuts to the CDC. Also as a matter of fact there are other countries who are also not prepared because of Trump who shutting down a help in pandemic response in 39 of 49 low income countries.

Your "values" are the ones who are purely selfish and you proved that the minute you said another 4 years of Trump isn't that bad.

To be clear

 

#1 I'm a moderate in some things and much more left in others. It depends on what and in what circumstances

 

#2 im sort of a Bernie supporter. I think he can steer America in a positive direction but I don't agree with how far he wants to go in everything especially things like Corporate taxes. But I don't think he'd be able to go all the way anyway coz Government would force a compromise

 

#3 I think everyone needs to discuss things civilly and see other view points and try not to be so dam biased all the time

 

I think part of the reason I keep a higher degree of peace on this forum with the left than most centrists or Centre-Left is cuz i don't try to be rude on in ur face or whatever or just looking to prove ppl wrong and try to make ppl look stupid. That accomishes nothing and the world would be better for it if ppl had a more enlightened attitude towards politics

Not to the extent they did four years ago. Many moved on to other candidates or didn’t show up to vote.

and I never said the voters are the establishment. The establishment funds cable news that tells half truths that hey debunked online, omits clear facts that make points irrelevant, and pretend that centrist = objectivism. Again, most people agree with Bernie on this issues, they just want to win, and Bernie would have swept if the establishment didn’t decide to mesh together at the last second.

nobody in the media talks about Biden opposing Medicare for all. No one. DNC won. I’m not okay with a corrupt political system. But it’s easy to sell comfort and tradition to people. The idea of a progressive is currently in pause because of D Trrump.

 It seems like we're heading in the wrong direction either way, and I don't particularly want to see either outcome come to fruition. Option 1 : REEEEEALLY bad, vs Option 2 : less bad, but still far from good.

Nah it’s not that. I can’t find the poll but most voters stay stanning sanders on the issues. They’re just afraid for no reason that he can lose when polls also said that wasn’t true. We’ve tried the “moderate that can bring everyone together” and that got so close it failed, when everyone said it’d be a landslide. 
I want Trump to lose but I just don’t see it. He’s stronger than ever

This is not what we need: the 2016 lesser of two evils debate. 

It's what cost Hillary the election. We need to build the Democrat nominee up, not down to Trump's level. That's why Democrats lose. We don't compromise. We get too muddled up about the perfect candidate. That'll never happen. People need to see the bigger picture in regards to what's at stake.

As soon as you and some of your "progressive"  friends said that you rather have another 4 years of Trump than voting for anybody but your man, and take the whole boat down with you that way, you are a lost cause to me. I ain't mad tho. The way I’ve already explained why the votes don’t match the ideals... you can read my other posts to people, don’t be shy. I said “I’d be okay” but not great... my heart would be broken, but at least I’m not in physical danger. I’ve already explained how my values aren’t selfish so that comment doesn’t hit anywhere but okay. 
 

On god you will be so lucky if Biden scrapes by Trump’s evisceration, and even then, progressives angst will not go away. This choice will affect the whole world. 
 

But yeah nice convo. My mind didn’t change in anything but I hope others read and understood the progressive left POV.
