I'm saying that the DNC and establishment dems want Biden to win because, well, #1) he's one of them, but #2) they believe he's more electable than Bernie. I mean, why would you vote for someone you don't think will win the general election? This is what the primaries are fighting for. On your second point, I don’t know what media outlets you’ve been listening to or watching but I never heard any of that. I’ve heard Bernie supporters saying stuff like that, but outside of OPINION PUNDITS who are paid for their opinion, I have never seen any headline or any anchor on CNN NBC CBS ABC or NYT/WP, saying any of that stuff. Can you cite me some sources where anyone said outside of opinion statements where it was said “Bernie is too leftist” or “Biden’s the only way to go” please show me. Since the beginning, Bernie doesn’t have a chance, and was not favored by the party. Throughout his career, Sanders has maintained an outsider image by maintaining a foot in independent party politics. Sanders only in after he has signed a pledge to the Democratic National Committee to run and serve as a Democrat if elected president. Cos he know he won’t have a chance if running as Independent. But still never was the primary choice for the party. Cos after all said and done, he is still the outsider. Americans may want a viable independent to run for president, but that sentiment is not enough. The old adage "politics abhors a vacuum" is true, but vast obstacles make it incredibly arduous to fill the vacuum despite desire of a majority of Americans. The reality and rules imposed by the two-party duopoly is a formidable barricade to the success of such a candidacy. What makes you think this 'fight' HAS to be your way only? Why so dismissive of the very valid fight that is opposing establishment and the status quo, which the DNC embody?
