adamsenigma 9,520 Posted March 9, 2020 Share Posted March 9, 2020 The Chromatica era oficially started a more than a week ago with the release of Stupid Love and video + album and tour announcement, yet Gaga is nowhere to be seen? Don't get me wrong, I know she's probably working HARD and getting ready for the album promotional rollout starting soon, but it's just weird that she’s barely online and she's not doing interviews or performances of the lead single of her highly anticipated return to dance pop after 7 years. If she’s at her home relaxing then I'm happy for her, she deserves, but it's just weird to me, it doesn’t even feel like the proper start of the era, everything has felt a bit rushed and I wonder why's that. Sometimes I feel like Stupid Love wasn't even supposed to come out on February, but due to the leak they couldn't keep delaying the release. Maybe it was supposed to be released during the first two weeks of March rather than the last week of February and that's why nothing has been "done", cuz she already has gigs booked for the next weeks. Also flights are getting canceled and it's suggested not to take a flight so she might be stuck atm and can't go to the studios and radio stations, also she can't really travel to Europe now. The promo might be slow and limited because of that and they probably had to make a lot of changes and find new alternatives. But yes it’s weird how she hasn’t done any interviews or performances. She’s probably just waiting until the album comes out. It’s better for her health if she abstains from going around doing interviews and performing like the old times. And it’s not necessary anymore in this digital streaming age. It's kind of a shame because I'd love to see her rocking some awesome pink fashion in NYC or something right about now, but hey, we're also getting a lot of promo online, which works well in today's market. Feels like she doesn't wanna waste more time, since the pre-era is long. Surely this must be the only time for her to start rehearsing the routines for new songs off the new album that she will sing live soon. Shes prob filming everything right away and learning choreo/rehearsing She also might want to prolong the era. It might be that these dates are the first part and then she does a second leg.
