I'm really happy that u're enjoying the song

Yeah it's fun but it's not catchy at all and it has no repeat value (at least for me)..

It's the first gaga lead that i didn't obsessed over it.

Then do you sis, we've all been loving it since the leak:huntyga:

You can, but why would you want to criticize a masterpiece? :ohwell:

I already talked about how the track is devoid of any redeemable aspect, imo.

But yes, I agree, the video could have been that one redeemable feature but it made me dislike the song even more. It looks rushed, unimaginative, and awkward. Even when it’s clearly the first chapter or introduction to something bigger, that’s not an excuse for it to look that incomplete. The lore is almost nonexistent, and the lack of care and attention to detail couldn’t be more obvious. It’s more or less an apple commercial.

Red vs. blue, pink for love, black for edgy, rough, and mysterious, and green for nature? It’s overused, just like flames/pyro/fireworks for entertainment.  And the use of that much colour, saturation, and close to crushed blacks, give the visuals a very cheap presentation. I won’t even touch on the dancing.

It was underwhelming and the criticisms is justified.

This is what Gaga and her team tried to do with the video, but failed to achieve.

Killjoys = Kindness Punks

Battery City = Chromatica

Which was then followed by this:

Mister Gaga

Because apparently, if you do, you're a hater and you want Gaga to flop and most likely die, even if you give arguments.

Truth has been told in the OP.

Am I the only one just tired of this constant complaining from this fanbase? SL is a good comeback single and just wait for the 2nd single, it will explode.

I just like stupid love because to me its fun and catchy

Which is one of the main the points of pop music after all.

I’m personally meh on Stupid Love, but I’m meh on most pop music including many of Gaga’s singles.  However, pop fans acting like SL isn’t artistically challenging enough seems silly.   If people really want groundbreaking music, pop ain’t the place to look.

Winning at what? Name one pop girl who is there for 12 years who can debut in top 5 on Billboard in ****ing 2020? Top 5 on Billboard Hot 100 list in USA. Winning at cancelling the tour? You Madonna fans need to leave this website with your negativity.

I was being sarcastic :laughga:

I was talking about the amount of negative threads dragging Gaga and Stupid Love lately, since the leak. Like, we are getting closer to become the next MadonnaNation or that if they see those threads, they would feel like they're winning 'cause Little Complainers are... Well, complaining

Oh I'm sorry for that.. It's just that I'm sick of this unnecessary negativity in here when the fact is that the single is doing great and that we should be happy.. We are truly becoming MN

Dua’s Don’t Start Now is very easy on the ears as are Dua’s vocals. The song has immense replay value and the video is great and professionally shot. Stupid Love is the opposite it sounds shouty and dated. The video is dreadful and the song itself feels like it lags on for much longer than 3 minutes. It’s just not a good song to listen to more than once. The song has already dropped to 15 on the midweek charts in the UK.

People have said the exact same things about Bohemian Rhapsody and compared it to the standards of what was on the radio at the time. As I can see, history repeats itself :vegas:

OT: We can’t criticize it simply because there’s nothing to criticize :vegas:

Catchy doesn't mean silly or basic..  Badromance is catchy but it's far from being basic .. Same for many other pop songs like Billie Jean..rolling in the deep.. Uptown funk.. Like a prayer and many more.
