A lot of them are country songs that will definitely not be hits like Cruise Wagon Wheel Sure Be Cool If You Did Done. Americans love country music No My point was that most of the top 40 may seem to be deprived of dance songs and filled with other kinds of pop music when in fact most of the spots aren't just pop music but a bunch of country songs..... I thought it was already popular in 2007 Fergie had that electro-ish "Clumsy" song and Britney's entire Blackout album. Plus, I think "Sexyback" was released around that time. With S&S still in the top 20 of the HOT 100 chart and the top 40 of iTunes after over 18 weeks since its release, the drawing power of Britney Spears clearly still has longevity. So proud of her.
