Yeah, I don't also agree that HIS LABEL discounted it. It's very unnecessary considering he has an Ellen performance on Wednesday. It'll only look like they are desperate for that number 1 like Capitol. But who cares anyway, with or without the discount, I'm pretty sure it will go number 1 considering there isn't really a competition for that spot. If Bruno Mars does get his 5th #1 with WIWYM being assisted by the sales promotion, his critics would arguably forever tag him as the one who pulled such tactics to get that #1 spot, in the same vein Gaga is being taunted with the 99 cents promotion for BTW or Katy Perry with those sales discounts and rapper-assisted remixes. On the other hand, who cannot blame Bruno Mars or his label? I believe he has the opportunity to become the first artist to have the first two singles from his first two albums to hit #1 in the HOT 100 chart. That's unheard of, well at least to my knowledge. I don't really see critics bragging Katy for that reason but only from her haters. But that 99 cents for Gaga? Yeah. It never and will never go away. Ridiculous indeed. And i believe they discounted beyonce's album because she is going a surprise release right before the tour, and Beyonce will perform somekind of 4 tour for the first European leg the the album is released and she performs the next album's tour during the first american leg and second european.
