I enjoyed the album even when the predictions were 400-500k :whitney: This is just icing on the cake.

Same here. But tbh I was only expecting 300k at most. I'm glad I was wrong

 

 

 

Too bad Nelly Furtado didn't have anywhere near this type of comeback. :awkney: JT and Nelly ruled 2006/2007.

I still can't believe The Spirit Indestructible only sold 9000 copies. JT probably sold that in the first 5 minutes of pre-sale  :lmao:

Why did Nelly do so poorly? They both had a similar level of success/sound in 2006.

 

You could put it down to Nelly's new work being of poorer quality, but Justin's lead single was pretty mediocre and it's had a great run..

Poor lead single choice imo, and she didn't have nearly as much promo as JT. None of her singles even got banners on iTunes :rip:

 

Plus, Nelly basically vanished during her break. Justin was still in the spotlight with his movies and relationship with Jessica, so people didn't forget about him.
