And that's despite all the notable declines in streaming, overall radio, digital sales, and even its online momentum, according to the very own words of Billboard. On the other hand, I'm happy with the increases in radio, streaming, and sales of the singles of Bruno Mars, Rihanna, and Justin Timberlake. Hopefully, in two weeks time, we'd have a new HOT 100 #1. I just think that I could not accept if ever HS would turn out as a lengthy chart leader this year all because of a meme, given that compared to the other singles in the top five, it's not even close to their digital sales or radio impressions. It also seems that without the inclusion of YouTube views, Thrift Shop could arguably have instead spent 8 weeks atop the HOT 100 chart.
