I've never even heard that Thrift Shop song, but I wouldn't mind if it went #1. As long as it blocks Taylor.

:tea:

Enough headlines for Taylor. Her work may be good and even may deserve a grammy but it is not as brilliant as Gaga's and she already sold 3 mln+ copies from RED :X I just can't :| But I don't really care cuz Lady Gaga is the Queen WW

Gaga better get her **** together with Spotify during the ARTPOP era.

Not here for potential #1's. I want actual #1's.

If either of Rihanna's singles flop, see how quickly people will say Gaga is #1 again.

My predictions:

Pour It Up will do well on Urban and Rhythmic

Stay will tear up HAC and have longevity like The Edge of Glory

Stay is so boring. Why should it do better than CKB when she had the momentum of 3 #1 singles in the Loud era.

She ain't Adele, and radio wasn't into Adele's pretty good Bond song.

Even if Pop radio refuses to play it, y'all know she's going to get those sales on Grammy night.

Id write off Stay if it didnt have the grammys, but also because theres no one to steal the "attention" Rihanna will get for whatever performance she gives since Lady Gaga is skipping (most likely)

Pink only got #18 with a ballad at the Grammies, and I doubt Rihanna can match her live performance.

"Glitter in the Air" is a pop ballad with a soft piano accompaniment. Its lyrics talk about the power of love and taking a leap in faith, while using various metaphors. "Glitter in the Air" received mixed reviews from contemporary critics: some named it the best vocal performance of Funhouse, while others criticized it for being a cliché ballad.

"Glitter in the Air" debuted at number 18 and 13 in the United States and Canada, respectively. In the United States, the song marked the first time Pink had five singles from one album chart on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was notably performed by Pink as part of her 2009 Funhouse Tour with her wearing a bodysuit and doing acrobatics using aerial tissue. A similar version of this performance was done at the 2010 52nd Grammy Awards, where her performance received a standing ovation and was critically praised by media outlets.

P!nk =/= Rihanna

Pink has a much more solid track record of support from Hot AC radio, a key format for Stay.

The Funhouse album was likely the commercial peak of her career too,
