saltface 178
98. Pour It Up - Rihanna Is not even a single and it's doing better that C'mon in itunes It's been sent to Urban and Rhythmic stations I think..
JudasInTheDark 3
I have a feeling Beyoncé's new single will do pretty well. The hype seems to be pretty good for it. Do we know about when it is supposed to drop?
craig 680
Yeah. I doubt shell go the safe road Not sure if anything is totally safe. Taylor took more risks with her formula than Kesha and came out ahead. I do think Gaga will try for commercial success while staying one step ahead musically. Pure Adrenaline 1,518
Yeah. I doubt shell go the safe road, so she'll need the time-off fuel to launch her later singles most likely (unless they just flop) the thing that helped BTW(song) to explode on the radio was that it was announced 2 months before the release and all the radio stations put it on their request list and Gaga(via Twitter) was daily provoking us to request it. But now with all the silence that's going around lately if the single just came out from nowhere it will be harder to climb so fast this time around. It's much more fun to have hizophrenia... u never get lonely
Ozzy8923 9
* OK, I'm just gonna say that I NEED Some Nights to just GO AWAY. It's been literally 7 months of hearing that song every time I turn on the radio. I'm about to go insane. :taylor: IT NEEDS TO DIE. 14 = FUN. Some Nights 6821 +55 231 +174 47.385 +0.202 210 14 2 13297 1295 93.147 - I wish Azealia was dropped. Maybe a nice reality check would inspire some damn songs and she could finally finish a damn album. The Hip-Hop community is loyal, but you have to be loyal back. Probably why many hip-hop stars release albums yearly and stil get solid sales. - Glad to see Ke$ha finally nearing in the Top 100 of iTunes after all this time. Clearly, with 30 million AI she should be well into the Top 40 on iTunes but an increase is an increase no matter what. - Scream & Shout still staying strong. 15 = WILL.I.AM & BRITN... Scream And Shout 5623 +133 451 +117 42.624 +1.060 42 4 15 5623 1543 42.624 It's almost Platinum (919K). So, in the end, I expect the song to make it to the lower regions of the Top 10 and sell around 2 million in the US.

With the tour success globally and her name, radio will play it. Especially with the longer the break, the bigger the possible explosion. That's obviously depending on the sound of the song itself though as well

I do think Gaga will try for commercial success while staying one step ahead musically. Well, Taylor took risks with her formula but also became more radio friendly generic pop along the way. I meant that Gaga wouldn't be safe in the sense of perhaps trying a sound that's off of radio completely. Bubble-gum pop was already growing with Carly Rae and even Selena Gomez before T.'s new album I agree about Gaga. It's a hard balance, but admirable if she can pull it off It's been sent to Urban and Rhythmic stations I think.. Correct. It's getting airplay. That's obviously depending on the sound of the song itself though as well this make sense I would love Ratchet for 1st single (with Azelia&Bey) will be good in all expects....with Azelia&Bey on it she will gain more interest in the urban/hiphop zones of the GP and if it's EDM with catchy chorus and crazy dancable instrumental the radio will support it more It's much more fun to have hizophrenia... u never get lonely
Ozzy8923 9
* Beyonce is questionable. I understand that the Super Bowl is the best promotional spot one could possibly find and a commercial (Apparently Beyonce's new song will be included in her commercial with Pepsi) will do wonders but, if the song is not commercial enough, no amount of promotion could possibly save it. If the song is good and commercial, she'll slay. I expect at least Triple Platinum from her lead single if this is the case.
Ozzy8923 9
can you gave me the content where you find this numbers( iTunes & sales) ..... I've been searching for them for a while with no success http://kworb.net/pop/ POP BARS = iTunes. RADIO = Radio Updates. How much audience impressions a song loses or gains. Includes spins, bullet, and iTunes positions in there as well. Divided by genres. When you go to Radio, POP will be the first one to show up but there are also other genres there as well. Better to release something a little riskier as the lead because it's a guaranteed smash and leaves more radio friendly material for release later.. if you get me. Americano 31,061
I hope she goes full experimental with the lead single, but I want it to be fresh. I would've backed Heavy Metal Lover as the lead single from BTW.
