Ke$ha will probably be #2 on iTunes eventually after Taylor is done releasing stuff and Maroon5 drops. The video will help, too.

I hope Ellie Goulding ACH keeps rising on iTunes.

It will :) It's getting good radio updates and still has a ways to go to the top 20 on Pop Radio. It should be (at least) a top 20 hit.

Didn't Paparazzi have a high peak on Digital Songs though? Something like 3, right? I think it's radio and sales peaks just aligned badly making it peak lower. Even outside of the top 5, its sales speak for themselves.

Besides, even though it did peak separately in airplay and sales, today's chart rules would have bumped it up considerably.

It peaked on Digital Songs on October 3, 2009 at #3, on Radio Songs on November 21, 2009 at #1, and on Pop Songs on November 14, 2009 at #1. So it very well may have gone Top 3 had it peaked on those charts at the same time.

There`s something like " Last Friday Night " which did very well like a lead single :crossed:

Let's not forget that both artists were on their peak (arguable for Gaga) popularity on each respective time and they got momentum from their highly successful previous singles + the said popularity.

BB Hot 100 calculations for the week based on all 7 days of itunes bars, current airplay and a streaming estimate

#position, sales (000's) + Mediabase airplay (A.I. millions) + streaming (Ks x 6%) = points, artist, song, (change on Hot 100)

#1 167 + 158 + 49 = 262 Maroon 5 One More Night (=)

#2 424 + 0 + 0 = 258 Taylor Swift IKYWT (New)

#3 237 + 64 + 60 = 250 PSY Gangnam Style (-1)

#4 144 + 130 + 44 = 223 Fun. Some Nights (=)

#5 85 + 137 + 39 = 187 Justin Bieber ALAYLM (+2)

#6 129 + 126 + 15 = 182 Taylor Swift WANEGBT (-1)

#7 105 + 106 + 36 = 175 Alex Clare Too Close (+3)

#8 62 + 143 + 21 = 159 P!nk Blow Me 1LK (+1)

#9 206 + 17 + 5 = 143 Adele Skyfall (-1)

#10 65 + 105 + 29 = 142 Owl City + Carly Rae Jepsen GT (+1)

#11 143 + 60 + 10 = 139 Ke$ha Die Young (+3)

#12 63 + 95 + 26 = 131 Chris Brown Don't Wake Me Up (+4)

#13 69 + 73 + 38 = 131 Flo Rida Whistle (-1)

#14 55 + 97 + 28 = 129 Neon Trees Everybody Talks (-1)

#15 52 + 92 + 33 = 129 Ellie Goulding Lights (=)

#16 72 + 92 + 18 = 126 Ne-Yo LMLY (+1)

#17 113 + 67 + 10 = 126 Rihanna Diamonds (+1)

#18 79 + 42 + 34 = 112 Kanye West + Jay Z Clique (+1)

#19 86 + 52 + 17 = 106 Phillip Phillips Home (+6)

#20 30 + 79 + 29 = 103 Gotye STIUTK ft Kimbra (+2)

#21 38 + 52 + 43 = 102 Kanye West Mercy (+2)

#22 47 + 53 + 33 = 98 Carly Rae Jepsen CMM (-1)

#23 29 + 88 + 19 = 98 Katy Perry Wide Awake (-2)

#24 49 + 20 + 53 = 97 Mumford & Sons IWW (+12)

#25 61 + 65 + 10 = 92 Carrie Underwood BlownAway (-1)

#26 73 + 54 + 10 = 92 Train 50WTSGB (+2)

#27 99 + 32 + 5 = 88 One Direction LWWY (-24)

*points = 61% x sales/K + 70% x Mediabase airplay (A.I. millions) + 6% x on demand streaming/K

Close between all of the top 3

Taylor's IKYWT has held stronger on itunes longer than expected for a promo so has a big chance of #1

Ne-Yo LMLY and Rihanna Diamonds may displace the three falling songs above them with airplay changes.

Approx week's sales for Gaga: PF 4.7, TEOG 4.2K, JD 3.9, BTW 3.7K, Y+I 3.6K, BR 3.6K.
