I wish Ke$ha's new album was doing better. It's not even half bad.

At least C'mon is already gaining before official release. I think the next best single choice for Ke$ha is 'All That Matters.'

I wonder how much Britney will compete with the other girls especially Gaga on the charts next year. I bet at least her lead single will go #1.

Don't count on it. With the new Billboard rules, Britney is at a HUGE disadvantage. She is NOT an airplay artist. She never had strong support from radio and her AI are quite low. She JUST got her first song to pass 100 million AI after 13 years. The only way she can snatch #1 is with strong streaming and a large lead in digital sales and a possible radio deal. If not, I'm not seeing it.

In terms of album sales, I don't think Britney will reach as low as Femme Fatale is US and WW sales (767K in the US, 1.7 million WW). I expect 2-3 million next album. 4 million at best. 1,000,000 in the US, 800K at least if anything.

Well that's dissapointing. What is AI btw?

Audience impressions. How many people heard a song in a one week time span.

And I wouldn't call 2-3 million disappointing. In this sales climate anyone would be lucky to score those kind of sales.

Oh. And I meant that radio doesn't support her is dissapointing.

Well, pop radio supports her but not enough to get the song to #1. :laughga:

Yeah that's a really good choice IMO. It's safe and catchy.

At least someone agrees with me about singles that I think are worthy :derpga: :derpga: :derpga:

Dangerous Man

It is destined to be a hit.

When Lotus was released, it peaked up to #13 on iTunes so it charted at #91 on Billboard Hot 100. Later without radio support after the song was performed on The Voice & Ellen it went from top 300 to top 40 on iTunes and stayed there for a week so its newest peak is #71 on Billboard Hot 100.

Xtina & Blake are going to perform the song in 11 days at the People's Choice Awards! Its growing every day on the radio, small but steady! Now it has radio support, it just has to go again to at least top 50 on iTunes ! That way it could chart up to #50 on Billboard Hot 100 and maybe even more!

I hope so. I really hope so...

Britney's lead singles tend to really plummet after the debut week, so it's highly unlikely she will get another #1 unless its some huge smash hit.

Now. it WAS a flop but not the biggest of her career (WW it might be one of her biggest flops, but I'm talking US). I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman and Boys both peaked outside the Hot 100 with Boys peaking at, I believe, #122. Not to mention, MY Prerogative peaked at #101 and Do Somethin' peaked at #100. So, she's had her fair share of flops in the US before Criminal and Radar peaked at #88 but sold around 600K so it's not too bad of a flop. :laughga:

But those 2 are still iconic songs. I mean the GP knows those songs. My sister even has "My Prerogative" CD :laughga:
