74 :wtf:

How to get really positive reviews on a pop album; make the songs generic as ****, and always be the lead writer on them.

Worked for TFM

BTW wasn't generic so.....

It is just boggling my mind Warrior has a higher Metacritic than BTW. The Re-Up and now this... :dies:

With Kesha "hey the girl exceeded expectations - she's not just the auto tuned party bimbo of caricature."

With BTW "this girl must be put in her place" (for every pop hated or partisan of some older icon)

Warrior's score is based on 14 critics.

The Re-Up's score is based on 8 critics.

Born This Way's score is based on 33 critics.

THAT'S why the first two albums are a couple of points higher.

I'm quiet surprised with Warrior's score as well. It's a nice album, but even the mixed reviews agreed that there isn't any substantial changes if compared to her previous albums. I mean, it's a good album, but any Gaga album is better than Warrior imo. Plus, BTW has more reviews.

That is really what is going on here.

Warrior's score is based on 14 critics.

The Re-Up's score is based on 8 critics.

Born This Way's score is based on 33 critics.

THAT'S why the first two albums are a couple of points higher.

The Re-Up could very well change, but the score usually stays pretty consistent once it gets to about 15 reviews.

BTW was also given a ZERO by Tiny Mix Tapes, which hurt its overall score.

Yeah, I remember pointing that out awhile back. That is such a joke :toofunny:

I honestly think that Warrior is a step back from Animal. She's further cementing herself as a singles only artist with a few incredibly generic tracks that will do well on radio.

That is what Rollingstone and Spin feel. I listened to her album and I'm interested with the risks she took. Not so sure she has a 100% hit single to follow. We shall see.

Tomorrow we find out if S&S went Top 10

Oh, God I hope so.

The meltdowns if it's #11. Stronger 2.0. I'm sure if it doesn't make Top 10 this week, it will the following week.
