Americano 31,061
"ugly people should cover their faces with burqas. i'm a geniussssssssssssssssssssssss " And the Telephone video was a commentary on American culture, while the meat dress was for gay rights? :troll:
jhonyguy04 3
Two is all you need, if your fans are pleased with the album itself. And she got that for BTW. Britney and Beyonce have had many a successful era with no more than that. Exactly. I don't even care if the second one doesn't reach number one. TEOG smash type hit is fine w me tbh for the second single. I do want the first one to smash a la bad Romance though.

I didn't find out till recently because of Gaga herself. It's an entirely different religion she would be targeting, a religion that is centered mostly in the Middle East/Asia so it shouldn't really hurt her that much in the US or Europe (which in the end are the music markets that most people care about because that's where the sales come from) and Japan isn't predominantly Islam so she should be good there (Judas peaked at #3 there). I think she wants one big controversial moment per era. Hanging herself in Paparazzi, Alejandro video, Judas era, Burqa era. The meat dress and egg are more shock value than controversy. Babel 41,345
and MTN was not about the Illuminati. It was about skeleton guns burning holes in the road. So relatable. :flutter:

Morphine Prince 104,991
and MTN was not about the Illuminati. It was about her screwing around to get to the top. I knew it. Traded her soul for a wish.

She should stay away from religion tbh.

The meat dress and egg are more shock value than controversy. It should cause some controversy. (Mind my asking, when did she mention there was a song called Burqa? :toofloppy:) Just I don't think it will be centered in the US and Europe (places where the Christian religion is quite prominent) like it was with Judas. If anything, controversy would center in the Middle East and Asia but still controversy nonetheless. Maybe she wants to get controversy in an area where it won't hurt sales.
Klou 2,414
The Figure 8 video is great, I hope it makes an impact in Europe at least. Ellie and Halcyon on the other hand, has been for me one of the highlights of the year. I'm loving so many songs from her album. Only you, Halcyon, Ritual, Anything could happen... flawless work, she trully deserves more success. Loving all of this right now :hor:

craig 680
It was about skeleton guns burning holes in the road. So relatable. 70s rock was full of heavy metaphors ... are you saying your generation is too freaking DUMB and SHALLOW to handle anything but drinking and partying lyrics?
