Anyone notice how Taylor Swift has changed from a lion to a ***cat in singles now that her album is out.

AMA performances couldn't never get the song into the itunes Top 10.

A bit alike BTW ... artists with monster opening album sales simply will struggle to equal the chart placings of ones who sell mainly singles.

Guys lets not even try to downplay everybody's success. Everybody from Kesha to Rihanna is beating us in everything. Katy caught up in album sales. Everybody is beating us in singles sales. We ate good on touring but not even good as before. We are on a downward trail so we should not be talking. Lets pray for the best next era.

First of all, according to her label, Gaga has now sold over 90 million singles worldwide already. That makes her total record sales worldwide to at least 115 million - in just 4 years. I cannot say the same about those pop stars you have mentioned.

Not to mention, Gaga has been named the Most POWERFUL Celebrity by FORBES, one of the most Influential by TIME, the new QUEEN OF POP by Rolling Stone, the most FAMOUS Celebrity on Earth by GUINNESS World Records. She won 5 GRAMMYS, 13 VMAs. And of course, her debut perfume, THE FAME, just sold 6 MILLION bottles in its first week, the second fastest-selling celebrity perfume after Coco Chanel.

And speaking of touring, Gaga is on track to have her 2nd world tour to gross more than $200 million and she's just 26 years old. She's the only contemporary solo artist to do so by the way. And now it's confirmed that ARTPOP will have its own world tour, she may just have THREE consecutive world tours grossing more than $200 million under her belt before she even reached the age of 30.

So, beating from where exactly?

And one more thing, there's a lot more indicators or measures of success of an artist other than the Billboard US charts. Having a massive success in the Billboard charts does not right away convey that you're a bonafide worldwide superstar.

Christina has a great voice but i dont like her because shes a diva. The public isn't buying her ablum because her time in the spotlight is over, she had a great deal of previous success, she can make music for her fans but really, its not like the 2000's when little girls wanted to be like her and would have listened to her music, young girls now probably have no idea who she is.

I absolutely agree with most of you guys - she deserves more.

I think her problem is that she wants to be young and fresh, be able to put out an album like Lady Gaga where she can make her own definition of music.

However, In my opinion Christina Aguilera is a legend with a voice of Gold. Lotus is a great album - but it's not Christina.

She should try out more Adele/Beyonce type of music. And it's a shame she dresses like a kid. Classy Christina Aguilera with a white sparkling or a red dress with an amazing song.

I don't really like Xtina's voice that much. In some songs it feels like she's shouting at me, but in other songs her voice is amazing. Apparently the album hasn't got the best reviews either.
