Radio killed him :) Ke$ha might get #1 but for like 1 week. It won't be a dominant #1 What song would Riri even release for her second pop radio single? I'm not seeing any standouts. Plenty for R&B stations though. I just hope Ke$ha or Bruno cuts Rihanna off from a long Hot 100 command. DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER: Rihanna’s whirlwind, globe-trotting 777 Tour, hitting seven cities in seven days, ends tomorrow night in New York, following stops in Mexico City, Toronto, Stockholm, Paris, Berlin and London. The promo gambit was created to support Ri Ri’s new Def Jam/IDJ longplayer Unapologeticâ€â€not that it needs any help. The album looks like it will over-perform, powered by her hit single “Diamonds,†with major props going to IDJ topper Steve Bartels and to her manager, Roc Nation’s Jay Brown, who helped Rihanna A&R the project. (11/19a) Other major releases this week are Phillip Phillips' debut album, AC/DC live album, and Kid Rock. Taylor Swift and 1D will also get a boost from the holiday sales so there's a good chance they'll do over 200k too. Keep in mind they also predicted 125k for Xtina What? :toofloppy: Rihanna's highest debut was 207k with Loud, TTT sold 197k coming off of WFL. I don't see how she'd suddenly sell close to 300k with this album. I kinda hope she does get #1 though. It has the top spot on lock for sure :) Unapologetic on the other hand, that will be worth watching :popcorn: I'll actually be happy for Ri if she tops the Billboard 200.
