Arturo 40,746
Funny how Gaga could add a little dance break in a couple of her songs on ARTPOP and everyone will be screaming "SELL OUT!" "TREND-FOLLOWER"!. But nooooo, TayTay goes from country to dubstep and now she's "musically diverse" Delusional ****s. Taylor's latest promo single is actually kinda...good. Kill me now. I actually liked the snippet. Then I heard the full song....

Ozzy8923 9
Quite frankly, Britney is no competition for Gaga in the LONG RUN. Britney can rack up those first week sales easily but after that she tends to go downhill quickly. She's also not really very strong on radio. Her biggest radio hit is I Wanna Go with 101 million audience impression and only sold 1.5 million in the US. For a radio hit of that magnitude, I would expected better sales. Her biggest selling hit is Womanizer with 3.1 million in the US vs. Gaga's 3.7 million with BTW. And WW Britney's biggest selling hit since her debut is Womanizer with about 7 million WW and HIAM only sold about 3 million and TTWE about 5 million vs. Gaga's 9 million with BTW and 5 million with TEOG. I can't speak for Beyonce as of yet. Adding to this post, Beyonce ALSO doesn't have a lead on Gaga. Her biggest selling single WW is TELEPHONE. That should be enough of an indication to point out what I'm trying to say. And MILEY CYRUS?! I like her but do you really think she's going to beat GAGA of all people?! Damn, some of y'all are so insecure about these things. If anything, we should be worrying the most about streaming. Gaga can easily dominate in the sales and radio department but streaming might just be the missing link for snatching that #1! I hope to dear God, Interscope puts the song on Spotify or gets a streaming deal (Diamonds has one, there was an ad for it on Spotify).
Americano 31,061
Lady Gaga will do fine if her music is mainstream enough. EDM is rather risky, and her hip-hop influences may put some people off, so that's not a sure-bet by any means.

Harry 26,836
Idk how the US is with EDM or more specifically electro house (the kind of music Zedd and Madeon make), but it's all pretty popular here in Europe with artists like Swedish House Mafia, Porter Robinson, Avicii, even Madeon himself getting big hits across the continent. Maybe it will make its way into the US too? With acts like Calvin Harris and Guetta (though on a much lesser scale, slightly more pop orientated) having success in America I think it might be the next big thing... I hope it is anyway. So excited for Gaga to get in on this kind of music.

I have a feeling it will get bigger and bigger, and if Gaga could be at the forefront of helping to bring that into American mainstream then that would be amazing. I feel like DJs are becoming more and more prominent on the charts and that will develop into a trend. It's just a natural progression of commercial dance music that I think needs to happen.
