Ozzy8923 9
I'm not here for Gaga working with Max Martin UNLESS he brings something new to the table. When listening to Robyn's Body Talk, I was surprised to find out the best song on the record, in my opinion, Time Machine (a previous user posted the song) was produced by Max Martin. I think he's capable of amazing work! But, then again, Max Martin still produces music that I admittedly listen to constantly and thoroughly enjoy so if Gaga were to work with him but produce a typical pop song (Telephone 2.0) then I suppose I wouldn't be totally against it. I'm SO here for a Calvin Harris produced track! In other news (BLESS DA LAWD!), Christina Aguilera has announced that she will FINALLY perform and promote Your Body at the 2012 AMA Awards and "bring the album cover to life." That's interesting... No risky things Ms. Aguilera, understand that your overtly s-xual image has hurt you more than helped you. So my German Wikipedia tells me that ADELE scored the #1 in the US and #4 in UK. Is that true? I thought she wouldn't hit the peak in the US... In the UK, YES. In the US, chances are she'll debut around 5 or 6 so NO. But she did score #1 on iTunes in both those countries, though! Americano 31,061
Yeah, Skyfall is not doing nearly as well (worldwide) as Adele's 21 singles. Diamonds is also really struggling to gain traction here in the US, wonder how it'll do with a video.
Echo 326
Yeah she is. I am so glad we are not competing against that... Pshh, your telling me. So far all 3 of her eras have had such huge impact. That's scary. I think I might download Red. All 3 songs are so good. 2013 is the BEST year for Gaga to release stuff, because most people will be on break, and most of Taylor's singles don't do well so ya.... All 3 of taylor's singles that she released are in the Top 10.... what?

Honestly nothing can save that horrid song at this point, it's the lead single, and it's doing horrible, do you honestly still have hope? Ugh I wish we didn't have competition. We will have Beyonce Britney and Katy. Not to mention the 3rd single of the current artist.

Katy said she is taking a long break. I don't think we'll have new katy until late '13 early '14. She had a re-release, and like.. 8 singles. But Beyonce & Britney... praying for Gaga tbh. Ozzy8923 9
Quite frankly, Britney is no competition for Gaga in the LONG RUN. Britney can rack up those first week sales easily but after that she tends to go downhill quickly. She's also not really very strong on radio. Her biggest radio hit is I Wanna Go with 101 million audience impression and only sold 1.5 million in the US. For a radio hit of that magnitude, I would expected better sales. Her biggest selling hit is Womanizer with 3.1 million in the US vs. Gaga's 3.7 million with BTW. And WW Britney's biggest selling hit since her debut is Womanizer with about 7 million WW and HIAM only sold about 3 million and TTWE about 5 million vs. Gaga's 9 million with BTW and 5 million with TEOG. I can't speak for Beyonce as of yet.
jhonyguy04 3
And Miley Slayrus Ok that's it. We should give up.
ryebread251 0
With all of the talk about competition, as long as her songs sell, I'm not really concerened about Gaga's chart placement. Just because Taylor's songs are selling so well doesn't mean that the other songs are selling less because of it. I'm more concerned with cultural impact and overall sales rather than her chart placement.
