My age has nothing to do with my taste in music.

Um, I'm not saying it does :toofloppy:

All I'm saying is, if you were immersed in club culture, I'm sure it'd be impossible to dislike.

I'm sure I'd still dislike it

I could see how clubs would go crazy, and maybe I'd dance too if it were just to have fun, but in the end of the day, the song would still be complete **** to me

A tad disappointed but it's not as bad and try hard as Ke$ha's

A beautiful video. Not much else. It suits the song, though IMO.

VVV is doin great on radio. And it's moving up iTunes. The video was released to early for it to really help it.

*The Rihanna video is quite nice. Of course, I didn't expect the video to top We Found Love but the video itself is really great in general. She looks amazing and gorgeous and I liked the imagery. The two horses coming together, her floating alone in the ocean, the war scene in the streets, Rihanna running aimlessly in the streets and then ends up encountering the beauty of the Northern Lights. It's amazing and well executed. I liked the editing and the video suited the song and was not overwhelming in nature. Well done.

I mean, all in all, I'm judging this video using Rihanna standards (naturally I have different standards for different artists). So, if this were Gaga, I would be a bit disappointed and if this were Britney I'd be surprised that she showed emotion. :rip: In the end, it was a good video in comparison to the rest of Rihanna's videography. It didn't go anywhere in terms of plot or even theme, but it does its job. That kinda summarizes Rihanna's career for me: It doesn't go anywhere, but it does its job. :teehee: It makes sense. I could say the same for Britney too.

I actually REALLY did get that kinda vibe from Ke$ha. Like, I felt like she was overusing that imagery in an attempt to create controversy and get views and get people or conservatives talking but it just ends up looking desperate.
