With S&S still in the top 20 of the HOT 100 chart and the top 40 of iTunes after over 18 weeks since its release, the drawing power of Britney Spears clearly still has longevity. So proud of her.   Is Album 8 still pushing through for this year?

I don't want her to rush release her album (although let's be honest, it's not like she does anything other than record vocals...), but now would've been the perfect time for Britney to release her next album. Riding off the success of S&S and whatever exposure she still has from X-Factor. She'll end up releasing a single late this year or early next year and by then people will have forgotten about her again.

.

I'm not worrying as much now that I've looked more into the Top 40.

A lot of them are country songs that will definitely not be hits like

Cruise

Wagon Wheel

Sure Be Cool If You Did

Done.

Boys Round Here

Mama's Broken Heart

Downtown

Get Your Shine On

:emma:

Downtown will rise, just wait :whitney:

I genuinely think Here's to Never Growing Up is going to do really, really well. Her YouTube numbers are fantastic. I mean, for god's sake, the Wish You Were Here video has 150,000,000 views and numerous lyric videos for it have millions of views. Based on streaming, and depending on how quickly radio adds it and how well it sells, I'd even say it has a chance at going number one.

Indeed, her youtube power last era was great considering her singles flopped.

Avril is pretty big internationally, especially in Japan. She probably gets a good majority of her views outside the US.

Yupp, the demographics for WYWH show her top countries as the Philippines, Brazil, and Indonesia.

Still, I remember when we were requesting MTN, WYWH was dominating a lot of the request polls and such. She has a pretty hardcore fanbase it seems, and the new rules definitely work in her favor.

Hopefully the song is better than the snippet.

April 8th - Come & Get It (it will probably be a midtempo with indian influences, judging by the snippets. sounds interesting)

April 9th - Here's To Never Growing Up (described by many as a summer anthem, it's giving me Cheers teas)

i'm so excited for those 2
