Oyemiamor 40
I agree (not that S&S is ****ty, but that GOF is better). But I always have a personal bias when it comes to my faves. Oh hey look what I found ... When will Alicia? Alicia isn't trying is the main difference. Brit and Alicia are on completely different levels. Sorry. You can't compare a worldwide pop star from the 90's to an R&B American based artist. Sawwy

It isn't about promoting, it is about choosing who you work with and your integrity on the production and song making process.
Americano 31,061
I actually like some of Kesha's rock songs. I feel like she should just go Courtney Love on us but that is not cool right now. Oh okay
MANiCURE1295 8,673
A bulk of her hits have come in the past 10 years.. She debuted in the 90's correct...okay then. That's exactly what I said. I said nothing about when a majority of her hits came out.

Deacon 5
I've always liked Alicia. She's a great talent.
MANiCURE1295 8,673
She's not a 90's pop star Oh my god that's not what I said.. I said she's from the 90's. She's been around since then. I never once said " Britney Spears is a 90's popstar guiz!"
Ozzy8923 9
Alicia isn't trying is the main difference. Brit and Alicia are on completely different levels. Sorry. Britney hasn't even tried since like 2008. I mean, yes, they ARE on completely different levels. I respect Alicia and she is definitely a better album seller than Britney (even though her album is estimated to debut between 170-185K, which is 100K less than FF and in November... But she'll probably end up with higher #'s overall WW when it's all said and done).

That's like saying if Madonna had a song in 1979 and is a '70s pop girl' even though all of her hits were in the 80s
Deacon 5
Alicia and Britney have both had fantastic careers. There's no sense in comparing an R&B artist to a pop artist.

MANiCURE1295 8,673
She's not even from the 90s.. That's like saying if Madonna had a song in 1979 and is a '70s pop girl' even though all of her hits were in the 80s When one of Britney's biggest hits EVER came out in 1999 and her first whole album was created in 1998 then I consider her from the 90's. I don't know why you're making this into such a big deal.
Oyemiamor 40
Oh okay Yeah I know. it sounds crazy because I was talking about standards. But I miss the alternative music from the 90's. It's sad that Kesha is even close to that now-a-days. But something different is a bit refreshing. Listen to her song with Iggy Pop, a bit corny but decent.
