US Charts Discussion (Gaga single tracking: August)

Americano

After 'One More Irrelevant Song' stayed 80 weeks at #1 unfairly, while the most listened song in the world was #2, I don't care which song tops Billboard Hot 100 or how many weeks it stays in that position.

Hot 100 is getting irrelevant. Gangnam Style was bigger than OMN worldwide and probably in the US, that's a fact, just like Bad Romance was bigger worldwide when it was stuck @ #2.

Yep, it was. More sales and streaming than OMN by a long shot.

no one even knows what OMN sounds like, let alone the lyrics

I don't like S&S at all.

I also think I'm the only one who's happy that GS didn't went #1. I don't think it deserves all the "recognition" it gets tbh.

I don't think it should be popular, its stupid, but it is popular so it deserves recognition.

Will Rih finally get that #1 album?

(I think she will get it this time.)

:rip:

I hope Taylor blocks her, or hell. Even the limited # of The -Re Up copies are taken.

If Rihanna really sell 275k with that G-A-R-B-A-G-E underproduced and lazy album, I quit.

And I'm not even talking about the cheap attempt at controversy with the Chris Brown collaboration, and the lazy as hell attempt at "introducing" cheap and poorly done dubstep sound in her generic crap.

her album is targeting urban and rhythmic audience.

That's the group that normally buy albums compared to pop audience.
