craig 680
What on Earth happened to Ke$ha and Rihanna? They've been really silent about their videos and new albums. Specially Ke$ha, since this is her comeback. They're waiting to build strength on radio, before using the video to goose sales. ACDC's new double live album is best bet to block Rihanna from #1. Their last studio album sold 784k and those guys don't release many compilations. http://www.amazon.com/AC-Live-River-Plate-CDs/dp/B009B0L324/ref=sr_1_9?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1352156776&sr=1-

Nagini 179
it didn't even go #1 on pop charts. It was a hit but it didn't smash. Nokia's right. The song is 2x platinum. That's not really a big "smash hit." It only was a smash on radio though. Over 100M AI :legend:

Ozzy8923 9
* Phillip Phillips' "Home" tops the 2 million mark in digital sales this week. It's the best-selling "coronation song" in American Idol history, topping David Cook's "The Time Of My Life." Moreover, it's the 12th song by an Idol alumnus to top the 2 million mark. The World from the Side of the Moon. He will be releasing his debut record on November 19.
Deacon 5
TEOG was huge. It wasn't the biggest hit of the summer since that obviously went to Adele and LMFAO, but it was everywhere. I still hear You and I, The Edge of Glory, Bad Romance, and Poker Face quite often on the radio (Y&I the most out of these).

Have a nice day! :) Yeah, I agree it didn't smash as hard as Pound the Alarm or the 900 other singles Nicki put out in the past 2 weeks. Gaga's sales from TEOG alone have eclipsed all of that garbage worldwide. :lmao:
