TF rose to #6 then #2 the following week actually

TF peaked at #2 the week after Christmas 2009 due to iTunes gift cards.

I would love for Interscope to hand out ARTPOP with pizzas from Pizza Hut or something. Since everyone seems to breeze over the fact Taylor is doing that, they have no right to complain if Gaga does.

Except nobody made an issue of Speak Now selling for an entire week at 3:49, but then Gaga made a similar deal ...

The people who want to tear Gaga down are content to use Taylor just to put Gaga in her place. They know who the real threat is.

Gaga will be on the grunt end of it no matter what. I just hope the app counts toward sales as it should. That would boost sales a bit since people will be buying the app + the album.

Also, Gaga has a reputation for purposely doing what people criticize her for (example the whole fur ordeal, so she wore more fur). I wouldn't be surprised if she tries to do something else to boost first week sales because she doesn't give a f**k.

Exactly. Or when Rated R was given a $3.99 AND a 99 cent sale on Amazon during its debut week. I guess that's forgiven since the album didn't even break 200K (let alone a million).

I wouldn't be surprise if Gaga give away ARTPOP for free or if the app is free. Gaga is changing the game again and music cannot last anymore at this price. Taylor had the same amount of publicity as Gaga.

Can you imagine if she gave it away for free?! That would be amazing. I wonder how many people would download it for free.

1. Somebody That I Used to Know

2. Call Me Maybe

3. We Are Young

4. Gangnam Style

5. One More Night

other than that there weren't any like SMASHES
