Noooooooooooo :smh:

Are we forgetting that Born This Way was bigger than WANGBT?

This. It's amazing how people remember all Gaga missteps yet they forget Gaga's momentum single so far.

Did you all forgot how BTW was FREAKING HUGE. The earth stopped moving that day seriously everything was all about Gaga. The Grammy, the egg, the BTW lyrics, the hype was so intense and BTW broke so many records.

:lmao: wat even.

ARTPOP will most definately sell more than that. Even though Gaga lost fans during the BTW era, she gained more than she lost.

Now if ARTPOP only sells 600,000 copies in its debut week, we would have to be worried :nails:

Bless God! She was 100K away from beating Britney's record! :pukey: But I don't have to worry about that now. :teehee:

You will have to wait for Billboard's official numbers. It could easily be higher or lower when they report it.

Yeah it could go higher or lower from Billboard's numbers but they usually don't differ by that much. She needs about 110k more to beat Britney.

Taylor swift #2 on iTunes. -crying oprah gif-

Interrupted by another rapper :derpga:

*Also, I really don't get what some of you are saying regarding Gaga. America's Sweetheart?! For God's sake, the first thing everyone in America thought when they laid eyes on Gaga was "What the **** is that?!." (Not meant to be offensive, simply an observation). Not much has changed in that aspect. Born This Way was HUGE, was her second #1 on Radio and seventh #1 on Pop Radio, hardly a fall from grace. TEOG reached top 5 on Radio and #3 on Pop and You and I reached #12 on Radio and #7 on Pop (VERY good for an artist who had only released dance-pop songs to radio before that and then came out with a COUNTRY/ROCK ballad! Even Katy and Rihanna struggled to get their ballads to do as well as You and I did. Thinking of You went Platinum and peaked at #29 while California King Bed peaked at #37!). Some of y'all.

For God's sake just because she hasn't had radio airplay since October of 2011 doesn't mean she can't come back hard! I mean, KE$HA hand't released a single since February 2011 and a year and a half later she's scoring another Top 5 on the Hot 100 and soon a Top 5 single on Pop.

As far as first week sales for ARTPOP are concerned, I estimate a solid 400K-600K AT MOST, 700K if Gaga's team markets the album well and if the lead single performs well.

Must I even go into my own fave and mention the fact that the b---h was institutionalized in early 2008 after shaving her head a year earlier (Now THAT was a fall from grace!) and next thing you know she scores her first #1 in a decade and one of her biggest radio hits in late 2008.
