_Lam 597
So, im watching her E.T. interview. (Taylor) She's going to pass Gaga's record. This is her BTW, and its going off with a bigger bang than Gaga had. No her BTW was Speak Now. Really popular but less mass appeal than her first album. craig 680
Queens of Pop getting outsold in US by country stars is nothing new. Best selling album by a women ever - Shania Twain's Come on Over. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Come_On_Over_(Shania_Twain_album) Oddly like The Fame, it never went #1 US. And neither did any Madonna albums in the 90s.
Fizzy 2,192
The Fame had a re-release. Had Gaga re-released Born This Way and released singles from said re-release, it would of crossed the 3 million mark easily and possibly the 3.5 million. Uh no! TFM in the US sold alone because it was a standalone EP and TF alone as well! Just like Kesha Animal and Cannibal! TFM sold alone in US therefore different peaks on debut or else it would have been No 2 as well! Does anyone read articles!TF did amazing and in the US it sales are alone! In UK it is counted as a re release ! Double :kisses: “The scars on my mind are on Replay”

Anyways, I still think if BTW had a re-release a la TF then it would of sold beyond 3 million. :crossed:

tristan 0
Honey, just because a song is played non stop on radios it doesnt mean that it is big. No one cares about the radio anymore. People just care about how it will help (or not) their favorite artists in the charts. When a song goes #1 for six weeks in the US, it always meant that it was big worldwide but outside the US most people dont even know OMN. lol..do you know anything about charts? the song has over 15,000 spins on radio. i suggest you do more research on radio spins and charts if you don't know the level of success that demonstrates. anyone who doesn't know OMN is under a rock. Gangnum style will definitely be remembered more than OMN, but no one here can deny the success of OMN. 15,000 radio spins and consistently in the top 5 of itunes = a smash. And i don't even like the song, so i wouldn't be saying that if it wasn't true. and saying "no one cares about the radio" is just ridiculous. 90% of the population doesn't follow music as much as the super fans like us, so the radio is how they get their music. not everyone sits around a--lyzing itunes charts to see what's popular. they hear a song on the radio and go and download it. You can check different articles or go to wikipedia! :) That package meant one for TFM and one for TF! The Fame didn't sell 4.4M in the U.S alone. TFM helped that. That's why TF is only 3xPlatinum while TFM is Platinum 3M+1M=4M If 4.4M were true TF sales, Interscope would have certified it 4xPlatinum long ago
