Someone else feels like Taylor is SUPER HIGHLY EXTREMELY ULTRA overrated???

She is a great artist but come on, her songs could be on a Miley Cyrus/Demi Lovato album

Corrina @cmt :"Red" isn't allowed to be sold on Amazon in (MP3 form only) but is available in album format due to the fact her label does not want a repeat of the shenanigans that happened to Gaga's album They don't want her "Red" compromised to be sold at the fire sale discount of 99c, so if Big Machine were to make it available to them, they could conceivably sell it at that price to garner advertisement and sales.

Team Taylor is literally slandering Gaga.

I agree too. I don't have a problem with Taylor but I don't see the appeal in her music. Her songs are cute and its nice that she writes them herself, but I don't understand why her songs bring this level of slayage.

Adele's former 24-week leader (the longest reign for a set by a woman in the chart's 56-year history) "21" rebounds 15-9 (21,000, down 5%), marking the album's return to the top 10 after six weeks between Nos. 12 and 15,

This is what Skyfall did :nails: I`m waiting for that Diamond tbh.

i dont think taylors strategy would work for gaga, but i dont want her to wait as long as kesha and rihanna to release their videos either..

I agree. I do own all of her albums, but it kind of baffles me especially with this album (Red is my second least favorite from her after Fearless). But she works very hard and writes her own music so her success is deserved.

Is really that important for Gaga to debut at #1?

I think it's better for her to debut lower, then ascend to #1 and stay there for a couple weeks. Longevity > #1 Debut imo.

The strategy might actually work, it kinda depends on the music she'll be having.

Runway

From Hits:

Taylor Swift's Red now looks solidly north of 1 million in first-week sales, with a chance to possibly top Lady Gaga's 1.1 million-selling debut for Born This Way in May 2011. But that album, of course, included more than 400k in 99-cent sales from Amazon MP3. How about that, boys and girls?!

:deadbanana:

At least gaga is not local, lol.
