sockie 2
Conversion calculators exist y'all. lol $215CAD = $157USD Totally reasonable for GA pit these days for a big pop show imo. A lot of artists won't let you in a pit at all if you're not VIP lately. Pisses me off. If we get under $200 for US GA pit, I'll be very happy. Dingerz 7
I'm warning everyone - this is NOT a venue where you want to be far right or far left for seats. Nor do you want to be in the stands. It is an abominable venue for shows because the scale is nothing like the Air Canada Centre. If you have not seen a show there, you will be in for a HUGE shock when you see just how terrible the seats are if you are not middle and close to the stage. No joke, it's absurd. North Americans are not used to this scale.

I wouldn't even spend money on nosebleeds cuz you're basically just watching a screen from far away Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time. I assumed it was going to be the golden circle and those who could afford early entry would get the best view. I didn't think there would be a vip package like this. I liked how Taylor did it for the reputation tour. Fans got upgraded to the pit for free. (I think they had to buy merchandise though I'm not sure). Taylor sold most of her pit tickets as VIP packages up in the same sort of price range. Has done for the last 3 tours, perhaps a handful for upgraded for free (I do recall seeing some upgraded on the 1989 tour in Cologne). The way they did "verified fan" for Taylor on Reputation in the US was pretty much the worst possible rip-off, you could "boost" your place in line by buying more and more merch and up to 13 copies of the album. It encouraged people to spend hundreds for the chance of being further up the line to buy tickets for (in some cases) thousands. I hope nobody tries that sort of thing again (for the record, I love Taylor, but did not like how they did that). Always thought the way they did the pit on BTWB was the best way. No early entry benefit, no VIP package, just turn up early with a GA ticket, if early enough get your spot in the "pit" queue and you knew there and then if you were going to be in or out of the pit.
