This. I mean let's be real we've seen exactly how he acts especially while he was dating Ariana because they were all over social media. He's a bad sketch actor and they gave him the roll he plays best in real life. Goofy stoner dude who makes dumb/ bad jokes and giggles at them.  We wouldn't even know his name if he didn't date Ariana and she literally ONLY dated him to try to run from a previous messy and hard relationship.

He’s always breaking character anyway, he should really quit he’s not even that funny on the show imo.

I really enjoyed his new "special" on Netflix. It didn't feel like a comedy special but more a conversation with Pete Davidson. He gets annihilated for the relationship with Ariana but dude is really going through it, and seems like SNL isn't for him since he's not the best sketch comedian. I hope he finds his way.
