I went with the pragmatic choice. Turnout is much higher than in the 2016 in the primary and Biden is getting most of the votes now in states that matter. We will see how that continues in Michigan this week. Bernie isn’t getting young people out in the numbers he needs. And we young people don’t vote like we should. I live in Texas, where my vote likely doesn’t matter as a Democrat in a general election. But I know many people who are republican or independents who want an alternative to Trump, but with the choice of Bernie they will just stay home. I care about getting Trump out first and foremost. Biden isn’t the most inspiring candidate, but what inspires me is the coalescing of the candidates I have liked getting on the same team.
