Enzoooo 377
The movie officially comes out tonight in the U.S.! I just got out of watching and I have to say, I’m mixed on how good it is, but I also cried at the end. At it’s core is a heartfelt story of two brothers that use a spell to see their dead dad for one day only, it goes wrong and only the bottom half of their dad is created. This leads the two to go on a magical quest to get a specific thing that will help complete the spell and bring back their father. I just have to say, I never thought the bottom half of a body would ever make me emotional and here we are with Pixar doing just that . I really liked the movie, it’s not great, but I cried. The characters are well fleshed out, but I do think they relied on comedic bits too much at times making it seem like a story centered pieces together from bits to bits. Have any of y’all seen it? Did you like it? Tell me your thoughts!

Enzoooo 377
I really am also. I believe it’s an underrated art that is taken advantage of because it leans mostly towards children’s entertainment and adults just see them as “cartoons” but they can actually have more heart than live action movies at times

HausOfMark 4,279
I just got back from this and I was mostly bored with it. It was just drawn out on some parts and I was waiting for certain things to happen or to see. -Mark

HausOfHarlow 383
I enjoyed it! I saw and it last night on opening night and this afternoon. It very much a Pixar movie - great character development, lots of emotion, and lots of detail and beautiful animation. Spent the second viewing trying the catch all the details in the background (like the names of the items in the kitchen, the names of stores in the city, the infamous pizza planet truck, etc.). It wasn't to my favorite Pixar movie, and I do think that Soul, which releases in June, will be the big hit for Pixar this year - Onwards was more of just the fun/adventure movie. RAMROD 109,724
It is really good. Love the boys siblings theme. It is not overdoing it. Too bad it seems overlooked. Maybe because of Chris Pratt image?? First Pixar's film to receive this kind of treatment for awhile.
