You could have said because she’s not in NYC, but where she stays in LA is not obscure. Either words have meaning or they don’t.

This is shaping up to be one the most exciting and interesting Gaga eras, there’s promo everywhere, GagaVision is back, but little monsters are complaining bc they don’t get street looks anymore

First of all, this post is in a way celebrating what she has served. There is no disrespect in the OP towards Gaga. I literally ended my post with telling you dusty ass bitches to stream Stupid Love. It’s nothing but love over here, y’all in the comments attacking for what?

Yes, she's been dancing hard in SL, but did you notice she used mild to no heels? She used to be crazy about high heels? Remember the 8-9 inch towers? The hoofs? The dancer boots at her concerts?

Lately, she wears flats or flat boots or maybe 2 inch heels. 

Any time she attends big events, she dresses to the nines, maybe more classy than eccentric styles lately, but she's still fashion focused.

Wait, what? 

I understand this fan base getting defensive of Gaga when, for example, she gets dragged for being “over it.” If you love her, it’s obvious she is doing amazing and unexpected things for us this era that I at least never anticipated (like getting her promo game on). 

I do not, however, understand the claws that come out when someone wants to discuss a topic such as this. Fashion and visuals were a major component to Gaga’s brand and it’s her brand that she has sold to us.

She has chosen to continue to work professionally as a musician, popstar, and brand- the Lady Gaga brand. Like any profession, it comes with specific obligations, and like any brand, it comes with expectations. If she truly is tired of being surrounded by fans - fans who adore her, built her up, and supported her - then that is totally okay; but, then she needs to be honest about that and retire. No shade whatsoever there ... I just don’t understand why anyone would defend a musician who was both trying to rake in the bills from a new album and avoid the fans who own those bills? 

I think commentary like this and the “her health” rhetoric are not conducive to what a fan forum should be. We should be allowed to, and enjoy, talking about every part of her brand that we fell in love with. And we should absolutely be able to ask what has changed when we are in such an exciting time and yet one of those pieces is missing.

Her health can’t be used as an excuse any time someone does so little as misses seeing her in iconic fashion. If you think she can produce the SL MV yet not make some strategic promo appearances, then I don’t know what to say. Otherwise, if you are using it because it is convenient, you are only desensitizing people for when she truly needs empathy and has to make tough choices due to her health.

Her lack of public appearances has been a let down and I am allowed to say that. I am so hyped for this era but I’m bummed that she’s MIA.
