But yes, China might well be responsible for the virus and should take responsibility. There is a significant gap between rural and urban poverty in China, and standards on food safety are non-existent, particularly where rural, older people at street food markets are concerned. It's not yet full known where it came from exactly in Wuhan. But it's quite common to eat animals such as badgers, cat and dogs. We think some white people food is disgusting. Disgust is cultural, and while I don’t personally eat those animals, there are reasons why some cultures do. It’s more the preparation and hygiene than the animal itself. Eat an uncooked chicken or raw pig parts and your chance of dying is the same. Your disrespect is not welcome. By the way, nothing has been confirmed regarding the source of transmission. The bat story is fake news associated with a 3-year old viral video. I live in China, and the amount of people that actually consume wild animals is a minority. Everyone here just eats pork, beef, chicken and other normal meats that you would expect people to eat. And let's not act like some people from other cultures don't eat "weird" things such as rattlesnake (parts of South America), fish sperm (Japan, Russia and Italy), or even insects. the only reason y'all are emphasizing questionable Chinese cuisine is because of the coronavirus, when many other questionable cuisines in other countries exist. So does Indonesia, Thailand and some Asian countries. You're being ignorant. Just because it's not a normal thing to do in most countries. Doesn't make it wrong. It's a matter of perspective.
