off-topic but I didn't really keep up with season 11 while it was airing and wanted to rewatch eps I didn't see but all my usual [redacted] sites don't have it for some reason. but from what I gather, I didn't miss much? 

I haven't read any of the rumors, but I think next week might be Jackie's time to go, unless she shines in the makeover challenge, but the preview of that next episode was edited against Heidi, to which in my opinion, I think she'll get the Season 4 Latrice treatment: beloved and going far in the competition.

In this episode however I felt the critiques were a bit harsh towards Widow, but what inevitably sent her home was her defeated attitude and Jackie doing that lip-sync more justice.

Season 11 was really something: way too edited (given their standards), too many queens, and forcing too many storylines at once to see which one sticks. It ended up being a meh season after all.

Am I the only one who thought that Widow was robbed this episode of a top placement. I for sure thought she was gonna be in the top. She was quick, witty and smart. When Heidi dragged Jackie for the beard and Widow volleyed and instead of laughs we got rattlesnake noises. Widow's read was way more funny. Sherry and Gigi should have been in the bottom, both of them relied on earlier gimmicks and it backfired. 

They treated Widow horribly, she wouldn't have gotten in her head if they praised her. Her look was the best of the night, and was really good at LSFYL. I really thought it was going to be a double save. They are all over the place with the judging this season.

Since day 1 I thought Gigi had potential to be in the top, but this clear production favoritism towards her and her cocky attitude are really turning me off. When I saw her as the only representation of this season on the Werq the World Livestream a few weeks ago it was just the confirmation of this blatant favoritism. Still, hoping for a final twist and either Crystal or Heidi get the crown!

I think Heidi is the most logical choice for being out during the makeover, since her makeup skills have been questioned so often. I actually see Heidi having a similar story arc to Chi Chi, being in the bottom multiple times and having a turnaround leading to an unexpected/deserved top 4 placement. I do wonder, since the makeover tends to be when they give a front runner some trouble, if Gigi continues her bad luck streak. In another season, a Heidi vs. Gigi lipsync would've been steeped with drama given their previous Untucked exchange.

 

I did see a discrepancy between how Silky was being portrayed in clips vs. how people on twitter were reacting to her (very very badly). I also heard many people scream robbed about more eliminations on season 11 than any other season.

Gigi has zero personality. Every season there's a skinny white "fashion" queen that the fans lose their **** over, and I'm so bored of them.

I felt so bad for her when she explained her frustration because she thought she did well. SHE DID! It was like she realized what they were setting her up for and knew no one could help. My queen.

I honestly feel like I lost my sense of humor  Like, I loved Widow's performance and was meh at Gigi's robot from Snatch Game.

The main problem I have with the newer seasons is that they are heavily focused on producing a reality show more so than a competition show. In earlier seasons almost every contestant had their shining moment where they either placed high in a challenge or delivered in a lipsync. Almost every queen had a chance to showcase their drag. Also, it was pretty easy to guess the winner of each episode because they were given more screen time. Back then you had to BOMB a challenge to get sent home, while nowadays you could simply be saved by a weird edit.

I honestly think they should do what DR Thailand did and do a separate win for the challenge and runway portion. That way, no one is safe. You could slay the challenge, bomb the runway and get sent home. Thus there would be no confusion as to who won what.

Gigi should’ve been in the bottom against Widow last week, they are only keeping her for the same reason Pearl made top three.

I’m just glad they are setting up Jaida to be able to take the crown.

So idk if any of y’all watched celebrity drag race but shannel, laila McQueen, and mayhem miller did the makeup for the celebrities but were cut from the episode
