They have already won a lot of awards including the record for first K-Pop group to have 1 billion views. They have skyrocketed to fame with their songs "BOOMBAYAH" from international fans and "WHISTLE" to Korean fans. They have released 2 EPS, SQUARE UP and KILL THIS LOVE. Lyrics from some of their songs are here: Each member can be differentiated from each other. Jisoo is a full-blooded Korean, meaning she has lived and was born in Korea. She is the oldest of the group and the lead vocal of the quartet. Jennie is born in Korea and has been raised in the USA. She is an expert in Japanese, English and Korean. She is also known as the main rapper of the quartet. She is also provided as the center and a vocal of the group. Rosé has lived in both Korea and New Zealand. She is the MAIN vocalist of the group and is known to be the main one interviewed in the group when in English. Also the hierarchy for these positions are main > lead > normal > sub. But in a 4 member group you probably won't see any normal or sub vocalists. For example Rose is the main vocal but Jisoo is lead vocal, meaning that Rose will probably get more challenging lines than Jisoo. And Jennie is the main rapper.
