Not being rude, but it’s obvious that we have a global coronavirus pandemic happening and Gaga’s team already removed a Japan date for this reason. It isn’t safe to be having a ton of global dates where hundreds of thousands of people gather and potentially contract and spread a virus.

I was thinking the same thing. The tour probably has only 6 dates so they can see how this plays out. South Korea is bad right now. She’s not going to announce a date there.

For real. Plus, Gaga always says “spread kindness”, not spread coronavirus at my tours... LOL

Ummm I feel like this would be highly offensive if she decided to go on a tribe tour to somewhere in South America or Africa :triggered:

Every culture has had “tribes”. Tribe is even a taxonomic classification

I can see her extending the tour especially with Europe being cancelled twice with JWT. If she continues an all stadium tour, she will probably stop in:

- Barcelona, Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys

- Cologne, RheinEnergieStadion

- Stockholm, Friends Arena

- Amsterdam, Johan Cryuff Arena

- Copenhagen, Parken Stadium

- Dublin, Aviva Stadium

- Seoul, Jamsil Olympic Stadium

- Tokyo, Ajinomoto Stadium

I hope she will also perform in the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna, she gained many fans in Austria since ASIB. But I don’t think that will happen since her last show in Vienna (artRAVE in the Wiener Stadthalle Arena in 2014) wasn’t sold out. 11/16k tickets were sold :messga: Allthough she loved the show in Vienna, she gave all her power, drank beer on stage and performed What’s Up :huntyga:

But stadiums are good for her health since she doesn’t have to perform that much eventho the experience in arenas is better

To me, these first few dates are just her trying to rev up her engine. She must be traumatized af from cancelling a whole European  leg of Joanne Tout the last time. That is no fun to do. So she might just trying to do it step by step and see how she is doing.

Also, I can afford going to all these NA dates, so I ain't mad there is no Calif. dates right now.

I doubt that she'd sell out a stadium date in Seoul. I think she still does have a shot at doing well in Japan, but note that for the past six years or so, her songs haven't even reached a tenth of the popularity that Born This Way had. Applause was a hit in Japan, but no song after that became a hit there. Stupid Love didn't even enter the iTunes or Spotify top 50 as far as I know, showing her fanbase has shrunk quite a bit in Japan.

If we are talking 2020, doubt these places are considered anyway, especially South Korea, being one of the major area affected by COVID19.

I believe the whole East Asia won't have any tour from any foreign artists until situation improved.

There are plenty Western artists, European and American, who are postponing their Asia leg of their World Tour. Like, the whole continent, not just the East Asia countries.

The latest ones being Slipknot, a huge metal band, and touring force, announcing just few hours ago. So this is just how serious the situation are taken by touring musicians.

I understand and also how serious this  epidemic is. However, Gaga has toured before during major outbreaks.

TMB 2.0 with the Swine Flu outbreak.

BTWB with the MERS outbreak.

Artrave with the Ebola outbreak.

Also if Gaga and her team was really concerned about the coronavirus. They would have waited until 2021 to tour Chromatica.

I can see an Asia leg being postponed.

She will definitely first add second and third dates to both London and Paris if they sell out fast before adding shows in another cities.

Poor Japan, they had one of the very very limited live promotions for Joanne outside of the US and they didn’t even get a tour date:messga:, Did they ever complain? No doubt it became a stagnant market

I hope you are right. It does make sense that she wouldn't start off with so many dates. She can't get too carried away in case a situation arises where she has to cancel again. Imagine all the meltdowns. Fans would officially cancel her.

Spoiler

Tbh I think there will be more dates, but she might bring it back to Vegas before, who knows. I don't think the symbols mean anything more than the symbols for Chromatica, she ain't that cryptic and planned out :huntyga:

So far Japan isn't giving Stupid Love much appreciation so I doubt she'll go to Asia

I’m actually surprised because the song and video gives a nod to Asian culture. :enigma:
